Bags are optional. 7500 zcoins is too steap. I will probably only get 3 heavys on my chars with a ton of armor then just suck it up on the rest.

Spoze the second benifit of having 10 chars is when Zquests are really easy (Raisu HM ~ 15 min x 10 chars x 50(?) zcoin = kapow. The longer missions need to have a LOT more coins though (Ring of Fire FTL).

Those Bag are not optional. Charr Bags are optional. There is an alternative to charr bags: Normal bags, as there are alternatives to those 'cool and flashy' skins: Crafter and Collector skins.
The only way to gain access to all 20 slots for each character is too much ZCoins. More than the cost of unlocking the most expensive prestige Animal.
A bag harder to get than a Rainbow Phoenix? Nonsense!

When I create a new character, I have many alternatives to get bags and belts, and then use it right away.
An once I have more than one character, the older ones can pay for the bags of the new ones, and then the new ones would repay the old ones by playing. Since they can fit more items in their inventory.

Yeah, you can have various characters and focus all coins in once character... but that takes time anyways (HM missions may take from 20min to 2hours, and usually around 45minutes, and the time people have to play is limited)

You see the PvP Zaishen quests there, right? The ones that give at least as much (and in some cases double) the zcoins as the PvE ones?

My two cents...

I have gotten 3 of the small Equipment bags already and I have no ZCoins at all. The Small Bag is super easy to get. Takes about 50 minutes. Not worth selling cause you can farm stuff better than 2500 gold an hour!

As for the 20 space Bag that would be good to have since there are lots and lots of armor to get for my hall. * Elite Platemail armor * Elite Dragon armor* Elite Charr Hide armor* Elite Gladiator armor* Elite Templar armor* Elite Kurzick armor* Elite Canthan armor* Elite Sunspear armor* Primeval armor* Asuran armor* Monument armor* Norn armor* and of course, Silver Eagle armor

These are a few of my favorite things! Each of these is 5 spaces in its own! I need 65 spaces for my armor! So with my chest maxed to the hilt with weapons and books and goodies what is a person to do?

If I had gwamm title I would be rejoicing that there was something more to do than stand around with my title out!

I like the new quests and the coins I think of as a "bonus" not as a gimmie.

To the OP:
No, I dont think it actually was meant as "bait" for in store trading of the bags.

I could be completely wrong though but I think the high price for the 20 slot bags was intended to keep the player participation at a max for as long as possible. If it was cheaper people would just get the stuff quickly and start complaining about how the game is "dying" because they are bored and there is nothing to do anymore (sounds familiar, doesnt it...). Funny that we havn't had any of those types of threads for a while

I think it was a stroke of genius! The person at ANet who came up with this whole zoin idea should get a big fat bonus.

But, like I said, I could be wrong...
